Summary: Wow, where do I start? Pictures are accurate in the listing and the property does not disappoint!! Well renovated with very thoughtful touches, this rental has a high end feel with some hotel like touches. Great fixtures, bathrooms are well done, kitchen has plenty of space and well stocked, basement is great, nice and cool down there with an awesome gaming/movie area. Property is well maintained with party lights around the fire pit and solar lights around the pond. The pond is full of little sunfish and bluegill willing to eat a worm or peice of bread on a hook. Use #6 aberdeen style hooks, small split shot, and small bobber. Did not catch or see any other fish like bass or catfish, but lots of fun seeing how many panfish we could catch. We saw deer, hummingbirds, hawks, great blue herons, woodpeckers all on the property while we were there.Some things that folks might find helpful. There is a spiral staircase that leads to the basement. The staircase is cool and funky, but it is a little tight. There are some really easy stairs leading down to the basement patio if you don't want to take the spiral staircase, we thought it was great though. This property is great for bringing a couple of kids along. Super nice area to play games and watch movies in the basement along with a third bedroom down there that is nice. There is a bedroom on the main level with a well put together bunk bed with ladder. Super close to a lot of things in Blue Ridge area, love it!
