From 1st january 2023, a tourist tax of rm 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. this tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. guests with a valid malaysian identity card or valid permanent residents my pr card are exempted. guests have to take a boat transfer from kuala besut jetty to perhentian island, where flora bay 1 is located, most of the boat operators are not licensed and they will wait for a minimum of 12 passengers to fill one boat before ferrying them to the island, there are no specific timings from kuala besut jetty to perhentian island. ferry starts operating from 08:00 - 16:00, ferry timings from perhentian island to kuala besut jetty are at 08:00, 12:00 and 16:00.please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. you can use the special requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Positive: Staff is helpful and kind, nice large lobby in front of the beach. A very nice relaxed vibe

Negative: The temperature in the room was unbearable , and the fan was fixed and did not swing. Very basic room with smell of bleach.
