Summary: Two nights before our rental, while driving down to Florida, we were informed that our property, which was booked 8 months prior, was no longer available. We were told by our host that we could get another similar space, 2 bed, 2 bath, balcony,2 parking spots. What we were not told is that the unit had an useable balcony, a bar/disco across from both bedrooms and another club across the living room. We are 4 seniors travelling together. The noise until 3 am each night was unbearable, we bought earplugs and complained to Nicole and then Vrbo . We were told by our host that perhaps another spot would be available after a week. After driving for 3 days, moving in and unpacking, we decided to stay. It was not what we wanted, but the thought of moving in and out again would have proven extremely difficult for us. Additionally, we were only provided with one Parking transponder, not two. We were assured that all parking costs incurred would be covered by Nicole Sexton. After chasing her, we were compensated some. However, for our final week we were informed that Nicole is no longer our host and would not be reimbursing us for the $25+ parking charges per day. We complained many times to Vrbo, but were told each time that all they could do was try to reach our host. It never happened, she was ghosting everyone. Bottom line: do not book with this host and do not trust Vrbo to have your back. Our month-long trip was a disaster, financially and emotionally.
