If you’re looking to get away from the cacophony of the city, you’ll find tranquility and room to breathe in this recently renovated home tucked in the woods. With three floors, an ample library of books, puzzles, and games, a pool/ping pong table, two TVs, a fully stocked kitchen, a spacious dining area with three tables that can accommodate up to 30 people island stools, living, and outdoor space with seating, there is plenty of room for large groups, as well as cozy nooks for quiet alone time.
With large family and friend groups in mind, there are four queen bedrooms (one includes a twin and crib), an oversized room with seven twin beds, a bunk room, five bathrooms with heated floors, two TV-game rooms, two washer/dryer sets, a modern kitchen amenities with ample pantry, a deck large enough for outdoor eating and socializing, as well as a highly efficient wood-burning fireplace centrally located on the main floor for chilly winter days and air-conditioning for when it warms up in the summer. All rooms have supplemental heat controls, and the top floor’s vaulted ceilings make it feel as if you are waking up in a treehouse.
Located in a historic secured community 45 minutes from Yellowstone and less than two hours from the Tetons, you’ll find outdoor activities all along the way from fishing on Island Park Reservoir and nearby Henry’s Lake and Madison River, kayaking (six kayaks provided), biking (four bikes provided), hiking and boating in the summer to cross country skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing, and snowmobiling in the winter. This property is less than 200 yards from the boat ramp, with groomed snowmobile trails within ten minutes. Go an hour in nearly any direction and you will find museums, restaurants, trails, falls, historic sites, theater, parks, and water activities. This is a beautiful part of the country, and no matter how long you stay, it won’t be long enough!
