Positive: The house itself is beautiful and well maintained. Our room was a good size with room for my husband to do his yoga. The owner was away, but the "substitute" caretaker was awesome, friendly, interesting and a good breakfast cook. We were there a whole week, and for a few days we had the place all to ourselves, but on the rest of the days the other guests we met were wonderful folks. We are already planning our next visit to St. Paul and plan to stay there again.
Negative: Really nothing much. About the only thing I can think of is while I love the look of the old claw-foot bathtubs, at my age it is a little difficult to get in and out of them. Then we found out they will be redoing the bathroom and replacing the tub with a shower stall, so they are way ahead at addressing that minor issue.
Summary: Our stay was quiet, relaxing, with great service and extremely nice people (guests, caretaker).
