The mountains are within reach in Arriach, in the geographical center of Carinthia rise the Wöllaner Nock and the Gerlitzen Alpe. Hiking trails through the untouched nature and numerous cultural assets await here. In winter, Arriach is definitely worth a holiday; the Gerlitzen Alpe ski area with almost 70 kilometres of slopes and the well-known Bad Kleinkirchheim ski area with over 100 kilometres of slopes can be reached in around 30 minutes by car.
In summer, Lake Afritz, Lake Millstättersee and Lake Ossiach offer plenty of bathing fun!
