Summary: The location was perfect for the Skyway Monte Bianco, just a few minutes’ walk away. We were also allowed to leave our car in the parking lot after check-out, which meant we didn’t have to pay for parking at the Skyway. We had two rooms, and they were quite different. One had a stunning mountain view and a newly renovated bathroom, while the other had neither. There was no air conditioning in the rooms, which is usually not a problem, but we were there during a heatwave, so it was quite uncomfortable. The staff were very helpful, even though they spoke only limited English. The only thing we found very unpleasant was the breakfast service. We were not allowed to take the food ourselves; instead, we had to point to everything we wanted, and a staff member served it to us. We are not used to this and didn’t really understand the purpose of it. My children felt embarrassed having to ask for food every time, and eventually they didn’t feel like eating much. I would strongly recommend changing this part of the breakfast experience.
