Summary: Three of us (two adults, one baby) spent two weeks in Jacqueline's house. The access road is a bit hidden but with Jacqueline's instructions this was no problem. Jacqueline was waiting for us and showed us around. The property is very large and you only hear the nearest neighbors during the day. We never saw anyone else. At night it was very quiet and peaceful. The house is older in terms of structure and furnishings but very well maintained and very clean. We found good basic equipment in the kitchen and after our first shopping trip to Le Luc we cooked ourselves an evening meal. Jacqueline was only in the house for the handover but was always available via WhatsApp. We had the house and pool to ourselves the whole time. The whole property is located in the countryside in a forest and so there are lots of mosquitoes and when it rains there are also a few millipedes. The windows are all equipped with mosquito nets but if you sit outside in the evening you should protect yourself against bites. However, because of the baby we didn't use harsh chemicals and so we were often bitten. The pool is nice and deep but not heated. Unfortunately there was a change in the weather in September so the pool was quite cool. We went swimming anyway and had a lot of fun. But it was too cold for the baby. We really enjoyed our vacation. Next time we would probably come a little earlier in the year so that it is warmer in the pool.
