Positive: The hotel is in a great location in the old town, down a little alley. It's an old building, Ming-Qing era, with old furniture. My room had a Kang traditional bed or a normal one to choose from - both with comfy modern matresses. The shower was powerful, but unfortunately as is common in China, being on the ground floor there were unpleasant sewer smells through the bathroom drains - because they have a poor system for waste pipes. There's no breakfast provided in the hotel, so you have to wait until 8 or 9 for all the shops to open, or buy it the day before.
Summary: Good location, old traditional hotel, with the pros and cons that come with that.
