Positive: We recently stayed at this beautiful home as a family group of 10 while in town for a wedding, and it was the perfect base for our trip. The house itself is spacious, beautifully presented, and set in a peaceful spot with a serene view of the lake, ideal for relaxing and enjoying some privacy -an extra couch by the lounge window would be perfect for reading a book, or to accommodate a large booking. The layout worked really well for our family, and the small upstairs "room" was a surprisingly great fit for our teenager who appreciated having his own space, though it’s definitely more suited to children due to the low ceiling and short door. One of the highlights for all of us was the swim spa, such a bonus! It was perfect for a morning workout or winding down in the evening with stunning views of the lake. We did have a couple of minor issues with the hot water (main shower) and heating upstairs, but the host was amazing and had them sorted quickly. Communication throughout the whole process, from pre-booking questions to messages during our stay, was excellent. It was clear the host really cared about making our stay comfortable. The location was also great, just a short drive into the CBD, which made getting around super easy. Overall, we all really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely book again. Thank you so much for having us. We wish you all the best with your hosting journey!
Negative: If we had to mention any downsides, the weather wasn’t ideal during our stay, so some doormats would’ve helped with the wet floors. A few small additions would make the home even more comfortable, especially in winter. Things like winter bedding, extra towels to match guest numbers, more cutlery, and access to basic cleaning items like a broom, mop, and vacuum. A dryer would also be helpful given the swim spa, wet weather, and towel needs.
