Positive: The hotel is in a good location. I liked how I could look out the window and see the golf course that I did not have time to play.
Negative: I've stayed at many hotels with different star ratings. This hotel is very dated and in need of several upgrades. The bed was "springy" and soft. The carpet was definitely dated. The only thing that seemed modern was the television and some of the furniture. The computer chair had the padding on one of the arms coming off. One of the lamp shades had stains on it and one lamp didn't even work. Also, what hotel does not have a mini fridge and microwave?! At least it had an ironing board and iron. Of course the iron leaked and would not hold any water in the reservoir. The WIFI was literally non-existent. I had to do some work on the computer for my job and had to use my hotspot in order to get my work done. I'm glad I got my room at a discount cause it would not have been worth over $100 for one night. It's my understanding that several years ago, this hotel was considered "bougie." Now it can be considered "ghetto."
Summary: Bougie vs ghetto...I'd say ghetto. Stay elsewhere.
