Summary: The room was very clean, comfortable, and exactly what we were hoping for. Breakfast was included with our stay at Alquimia Las Arenas and was delicious and perfectly portioned. The resort is located just behind the RIU, but it was incredibly quiet and never felt crowded. It’s only about a 5–7 minute walk down to the beach. If you head to the left (east) of the RIU beach, it becomes much less crowded and feels far more private. There’s roughly a mile-long stretch between resorts where you can really spread out and enjoy the beach without all the crowds. The area toward Chileno Bay was beautiful and peaceful. There’s also a fun little bar and restaurant just off the main road along Mex 1 called Coyote Biri. The service was amazing, and they had some of the best carne asada tacos I’ve ever had. Overall, Alquimia Las Arenas was the perfect place to stay. It gave us easy access to Cabo, the resorts, beautiful beaches, restaurants, and shopping while still giving us a quiet and relaxing place to come back to. We absolutely loved our stay!
