Positive: The facilities in the house were very good. The kitchen was the best we had in Bali (although it needs a kettle) and the furnishings and bathroom fixtures were new and very nice. The housekeeper and neighbour was super helpful with a couple of issues and the owner was kind enough to allow us to rebook when roadworks became a problem.
Negative: The view is no longer there. A small studio has been built right in front of the terrace, so the only view is from upstairs, but that's hugely impractical because the cargo net that is supposed to be the lounge space is, quite honestly, very unsafe to walk on. You also have to walk over it to open or close the curtains, so we left them closed the whole time. The bed was very firm and I found it uncomfortable. The toilet was dirty on arrival.
Summary: Good, but don't expect a view.
