This beautiful home is located at one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Shanghai - the corner of Huashan Lu/ Wukang Lu (Furgerson Lane) and Anfu Lu 华山路/武康路/安福路, the heart of the former French Concession. It has everything you would be looking for. The room is equipped with a comfortable Queen-size bed and in-suite full bathroom. Linens and towels are provided. Spacious kitchen and comfortable living room. There is a mini-garden on the terrace. The house is very clean and quiet. It would make a perfect stay for a month or two in Shanghai. This is a shared property with host (me) living on site. I may travel during your stay so you may stay in the entire house alone.
There is a hodge-podge of bakeries, cafes, restaurants, pubs and shops just outside the main gate. Two grocery stores are a few steps away. Transportation to go to other area of the city is also very convenient. This is the area where things are happening in Shanghai, where the West meets with East and where the colonial Taipans and Chinese luminaries used to reside. On the weekend you would see groups of locals come to the area to photograph the beautiful architectures and some Chinese Influencers would pose for modeling. Nestling here would allow you to experience the quintessential Shanghai life.
Despite not a house-rule, this property welcomes guests who keep a normal day and night schedule and who are willing to make an effort to keep the house reasonably clean and tidy on a daily basis.
