Summary: Wonderful place to stay away from the Dallas traffic, but close to amenities, restaurants of north Dallas area. 10 minute drive into Frisco. The house itself is beautifully decorated, spacious, comfortable sitting areas and sleeping quarters. Kitchen has everything you need, and host left complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates. As we are older, adult, I am very aware of things that can affect older adults. There are no stairs to go up, but it was necessary to get out and unchain the gate to get into the property and rechain. Moderately heavy chain. Very doable though for any except extremely frail or elderly. Also, it could be noted that this a guest house next door to the owners. Not a problem at all, but not mentioned in the description. There is a beautiful deck that overlooks a lake on another property, would be a great place to have a cup of coffee in the mornings or evenings. Heather was most gracious and prompt in response to any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again.
