Positive: Sebastien, our host, is based in Mauritius for many years and therefore has built a valuable network that allows him to give you perfect tips and advice and also to ensure a well balanced special holiday experience on the island. So don't hesitate to ask him for help, it is definitely recommended. His house is beautiful, spacious, well located within walking distance of a supermarket, restaurants and a beach in Tamarin. All pictures are well representative of what you get. As a guest you stay more or less in the middle of an existing family life structure where you still get hints of the family dynamics as a guest, despite the fact that the host and family members do behave modestly to respect and ensure your privacy. We spent 2.5 weeks instead of the 3 weeks we had reserved. This accommodation is in our opinion a bit more suitable for short stay.
Negative: Ask for a cleaning schedule and prices, in advance, if you intent to stay longer then a weekend. Otherwise you will have to clean yourself.
Summary: Spacious, beautiful house with a host ensuring you a well balanced holiday experience in Mauritius.
