Summary: We had a wonderful stay at Plitvice Lodge. The cottage was beautiful, comfortable, and well maintained, making it a great place to relax. There were many thoughtful amenities, and the breakfast was excellent with a great selection to start the day. A special thank you to Tony, who drove us by taxi during our stay. He and the older gentleman traveling with him were incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. Their hospitality really added to our experience. If you’re staying at the lodge and need transportation, ask Nina for Tony’s contact information—you won’t be disappointed. One thing to keep in mind is the location. There is only one restaurant within walking distance of the lodge. They had amazing food! If you don’t have a car, you’ll need to take a taxi to reach other nearby dining options. Aside from that, we had a great experience and would happily recommend Plitvice Lodge to anyone visiting the area.
