Positive: I stayed at Rooftop 42 for 2 weeks, together with my children of 13-16 years. We liked it very much! We've felt at home here. I certainly recommend Rooftop42 to anyone travelling alone or with (small) family. We were kindly surprised to see that the appartment looked exactely as the pictures! It is beautiful, stylish and very new. It is also well equipped and nicely decorated. The host was friendly, professional and helped us in finding our way in Ostia and Rome👌🏼. They put much attention in providing you with a warm welcome and a pleasant stay, you can see that in many details. We were received with a welcome box (from delicate chips, tea and coffee, to fresh wine and water inside the fridge). The appartment was very clean!. The pretty Italian paintings, the pastel colors on the walls, the lights outside, made that we felt at home from the first evening. Extra bed sheets and more than enough bath towels for each of us were already available (see photo) when we arrived. It was all tidy, stylish and clean, both beds were carefully prepared when we arrived. You can watch Netflix and other tv channels, tv works fantastic (tv in both rooms), so we enjoyed our favorite series during dinner after a full day in Rome or at the beach, also important when travelling with children. Both rooms are provided with air conditioning (quiet) and access to the great terrace, that made our days easy and confortable! Also next to your bed, you will find the standard electrical sockets (outlets), provided with iphone and USB entrance to charge your phone or ipad. In the closets we had enough stock, such us wc paper, soap, shower gel, also in the kitchen we found alreay all we needed. The shouwer works perfect, it all looks very new. The washing machine works perfectly too, we used it the last two day, all cleaning products are perfectly stored at a separated space behind the terrace.
Negative: All was perfectly conform the advertisement in Booking, or even beyond expectations.
