Positive: We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Ruapehu Lodge! The home itself was wonderful – comfortable, well-equipped, and perfect for our needs. We truly appreciated the amenities and had a relaxing time. The highlight was undoubtedly the **delicious homemade jams** for sale – we bought every jar and loved them
Negative: Unauthorised Entry: The owner entered the property without our knowledge or prior notice while we were out. We returned to find that items had been moved around this was confirmed when the husband came up (to check chlorine and firewood)and told us his wife had been up the day this happened, it felt like an invasion of our privacy during a rental period, the lack of advance communication to let us know someone would be entering made the rest of the stay feel uneasy. Simple messages beforehand would have made these interactions feel respectful.
