Positive: This was is a beautiful home. Plenty of space and perfect for family or small group. Has 3 seperate bedrooms and a roll out bed in the closet if needed. Having 2 full bathrooms was great and made it so noone was waiting. It is walking distance from access for Gilchrist Beach front, or a 5 minute drive to access Crystal Beach. Fully furnished with all the kitchen needs, toiletries, sheets, towels, etc. Nice deck to the house with plenty of room. Big open area downstairs with table and chairs. Plenty of room for hanging out, playing bags, and grilling. Great neighbors, they were very friendly and welcoming as well, an added plus. Downstairs shower as well to rinse off yourself, or your chairs and such, coming back from the beach. Keyless entry to the home via passcode, so was nice not having to worry about keeping track of physical keys. Living room was spacious enough for everyone to be comfortable. There are tv's in each room and living room. You can connect to your streaming platforms on the tv's, so everyone can watch whatever they want.
Negative: Theses are more statements to just "let you know", not dislikes. The description says there was "grilling facilities" but did not list having a grill available or not. I messaged and asked and was told that there was no grill available on the property. Wasn't a big deal, we just brought our own. When we got there there was a grill under the stairs to the house, but it was chained with a combo lock. We assumed it was not for our use since we were not provided any combinations for the grill chain or the lock boxes hanging above and below the home. The area around the property is still largely undeveloped, plenty of room for future homes, so there is alot of grassy/marshy area and the mosquitos were really bad. Make sure to bring plenty of bug spray with you. Neighbor said it was worse than usual, and we attributed this to the hurricane having come through earlier in the week and the rain we got overnight Friday night.
Summary: Was a great place for the family and all we needed, great property and experience!
