Great pet friendly family beach home with easy access to the ocean!
Unique 4 BR, 3 BA home surrounded by live oaks with 6 decks and a quiet perch for everyone in your family. With decks and large windows looking out from nearly every vantage point - you'll feel like you're living in largest tree house you could imagine!
Very comfortable home, newly updated in 2021 including newly remodeled very well stocked 'chef's' kitchen to make it even easier for your perfect family or friends get-away. New decking on top level with screened and un-screened porches. Ship's watch for great late afternoon reads in either sun or shade. Large screen TV in Living room with surround sound and house provided Netflix account. All TV's are SmartTv's and include access to 50 stations, plus Smart TV apps.
We provide linens per the number of people booked including sheets, towels and beach towel. The home offers a private pool open May 1 to mid Oct (unheated) each year and a hot tub that's open year round.
We include free adult beach bikes, beach chairs and boogie boards for your use. Gas Bbq, screened in porch, 2 mins bike to shops, cafes, mini golf, community boat launch. The house is a 'reverse' floor plan with bedrooms on the mid-level and the main living space on the top floors.
All of the house is included in the rental. Matt is available by text or phone. There is a local management company that I can contact to take care of service needs if they arise.

We are the only community on the northern beaches offering a private launch for personal watercraft to our owners and guests.

The community of Monteray Shores offers bike and kayak rentals, crabbing off the piers, playing tennis or getting a workout in our gym. Family activities and programs for the entire family are offered at our clubhouse during the summer months. Off-Street parking available for 4 cars at the home. Additional parking is 3 minute walk away at the Overflow guest parking on Drifting Sands Drive.
I provide adult beach cruise bikes for your use which are a fun way to get to supermarkets and restaurants. You can easily run daily errands by bike if you'd like. Tennis / Gym / Basketball Courts / Playground. Clubhouse is 2 minutes by bike and available Mar 1 to Dec 16. 2 Soundside piers are 3 mins by foot for great sunsets! Ocean beach is 10 min walk, 5 mins by bike or 1 min by car. There is plenty of parking at the beach. Tim Buk II with its 90 shops and restaurants and amusements is 2 min drive (Apr to Oct). The hot tub is open year-round. The club house pool is open Mid May to Late September depending on weather temps.

Summary: Staying at this Corolla beach house late October and early November 2024 for our wedding weekend and honeymoon was the best! It really did feel like staying in a treehouse. It was the most amazing experience. We loved the layout of this house. There are so many levels of stairs (we didn’t mind this; we got good exercise lol), but for those who have difficulty walking up and down stairs, this is not for you. Kids would love this place. It feels like a jungle gym. The hot tub and pool are awesome, although we really didn’t get to use the pool much. We did not opt for it to be heated though, so if you visit in fall or winter be sure to have the pool heated. The neighborhood is in the perfect location. Nice and close to Monterey Plaza which we went to basically every day since around this time of year most areas are closed. The public beach access recommended by Matt is a wonderful area with beautiful light colored sand and long beaches. There is no bathroom at this access but I think they just started building a feet washing station when we were there. The parking lot is across the street. Recommend biking or driving to the beach. There is a pier 2 minutes walk from the property that is very beautiful. There is another one by the clubhouse. That one is great as well. Best to bike to it. Matt was quick to address some issues in the house we needed fixed. He is a very fast responder and he is awesome! We had the best experience here and 100% will go back here!
