Positive: The chalet is decent size and the inside is well organized.
Negative: We were fully aware of what we booked ( both hikers!)but sadly the chalet was missing basic protection around the house and facilities. In sense we were surrounded nightly with wild boars with babies that made just turning on and off the generator (outside of the chalet) very very risky. Hence usage of the outside space from 7pm was just not possible ( we had an encounter on the terrace with the wild boar!). In addition to some animal being trapped in the wall and possibly dying, and the termites in couple of wooden elements of the house, the dormouse was a normal visitor. However, it wouldn’t be a problem but we were asked to keep the windows closed at night as there was no protection on the windows. Completely loosing the purpose of being in the nature if you have to be closed in the house and use ventilators. We were asked to sign a disclaimer clause paper, which is very unusual, but later on we figured out-it was bcs it was indeed a risky place to be and the host did not want to take any potential responsibility. We decided to leave earlier (3 days ) as all the above made our stay pretty unsafe and far from relaxing. We did pay for the full stay, including the day tax and we did not receive any refund on the day tax. That was disappointing as we clearly left due to lack of basic security ( not even a small fence around the entrance) of the rented property.
