Positive: We did like the vibe of the place, the animals are always a joy to see and interact with and the food was great, especially at the restaurant.

Negative: Unfortunately an interaction with one of the owners really ruined the experience for us. Down at the petting zoo we happened to walk into unsupervised children not being nice to the cats, twice! My wife wanted to do the right thing and talk to the owner about it, but he got weirdly defensive and irritated. It really made us uncomfortable, especially my wife who didn’t want to leave the room for the rest of the evening as the owner was around the property. Could have been avoided if the owner took the feedback and was friendly about it. Other than that, the rooms were stuffy and had bad airflow. The night was rainy and chilly but the room remained hot and hard to ventilate even with the fan.

Summary: Loved the vibe and the animals but won’t be returning.
