The house has a nice sunny terrace, ideal for late summer evenings or morning coffee on the terrace. In Balestrand you can visit the tumuli Belehaugane, once given away by Kaiser Wilhelm II. Also visit the Sognefjord Akvarium, which shows life on the fjord. The toilet is located in its own small annex, about 15 meters from the main house. From the cottage it is 60 meters to the parking lot. From the parking lot a steep path leads to the house.
