Positive: A rambling, rustic country house set in lovely grounds with a delightful swimming pool. The pool truly was divine. A spacious setting with a perfect large garage storage workroom area for our 4 bicycles. Loved the kitchen balcony where we chose to dine, under the shade of the willow tree and overlooking the gardens. There was plentiful kitchen equipment. Lounge was comfy with a big TV. We found the beds comfortable. Florent the owner was informative and helpful.
Negative: We missed not having a dishwasher. The bathrooms require some general maintenance / updating as neither shower fixes to the wall or overhead. The downstairs WC is very cramped with insufficient knee room. Unfortunately the previously occupant caused a blockage in the kitchen sink so drainage was slow throughout our stay and frequent plunging was necessary. It made rinsing/washing up quite lengthy and problematic.
