Positive: We lived in Villa Kiara for 1.5 months, and it was the best accommodation we could have expected. In fact, we initially moved to Villa Kiara for one week while looking for a long-term apartment. However, we could not find anything suitable that made us want to move out of Kiara, so we stayed there for 1.5 months. Villa Kiara has several advantages. First of all, the hosts are very kind and helpful. Janysha and Vishant asked us every day whether we needed anything. Secondly, the apartment on the second floor was excellent, with two large bedrooms, which are quite rare in Mauritius, a huge porch, and windows facing all four directions. Thirdly, there were many thoughtful and convenient little details, such as soft corners on the furniture, nice décor, compliments from the hosts, travel guidebooks, an araucaria tree near the bedroom windows, a curry tree in the garden, and many other things. What was even more fantastic was that Janysha helped us find a new apartment in Albion through her personal contacts. We had never had such an experience before.
