Positive: The property was absolutely gorgeous! I really enjoyed the amenities as well as Popina’s and the Cafe (I don’t remember the name). The apartment also was beautiful with a great view and had everything we needed.
Negative: Cafe didn’t open til 9am; which is late. It’s not a big deal, but we left out early to do a city tour 1 day, went to get coffee & snack but it was closed. Another small but important thing: there are very few sockets! We had to move furniture and/or unplug appliances to access them. In bdrm, I had to chose between the lamp to see or charging my phone, OR moving the bed and climbing behind headboard. Same in living room- moving furniture, no fun! The real issue was that the communication was just AWFUL! The host NEVER responded to any of my msgs/calls my entire stay! It took 2 days to get WiFi, and that was me just going down to front desk at 8am in pj’s after my calls and msgs to host & property were ignored. The front desk didn’t know either but she was nice & helped track it down. 2nd, the apartment was clearly not cleaned before we got there the kitchen and bathroom had very visible stains, sticky grease on stove, hair and stains in bathroom, etc. I really wanted to take a bath but tub was dirty and after having to clean the sinks in both bathrooms myself, I did not want to spend my vacation cleaning a tub with huge hairs in it. Now I will say, the ONE response I got (from the property NOT the host), they quickly sent someone to clean the kitchen, but that’s it. Lastly, the AC in the living was shotty. Sometimes worked, sometimes didn’t. But the really bad part was halfway through my stay, the AC went completely out in the master bedroom (my bedroom). I messaged the property the very next morning they did not respond AT ALL! The last two nights of my vacation I had the most miserable nights sleep of my life, drenched in sweat, tossing and turning. Even trying to pack the next day in that oppressively hot room, really terrible. I left there really pissed that I was just completely ignored!
Summary: Super cute property with great amenities! Horrible commutation, horrible host!
