Welcome to Hemlock Hill Lodge! Your home base to the Lake George area, Schroon Lake, and Gore Mtn. This is a 4-season Chalet on 5+ acres with mountain and pond views that sleeps up to 12. Fish, Ski, Hike, Paddle, Bike, and Snowmobile right from our home. Trails and water are everywhere nearby. Very private setting with the full ADK experience. Built for families with hot tub, fireplace, firepit, game room, kayaks, and treehouse to keep the kids busy, while you relax.

Whether you are looking to conquer the ADKS or just want to relax with some peace and quiet, our home offers versatility for anyone. Outside our home, the property speaks for itself. Enjoy the sunrise over Amasa Mt. (across the road) or seasonal sunsets overlooking Burnt Pond from the large wrap around deck featuring a Weber grill, propane firepit(May-Nov) outdoor speakers, and plenty of seating for the family. Hang out at our picnic table on Hemlock Hill Brook or relax at our wood firepit. Those who fish will enjoy the large driveway for parking up to 5 boat and trailer combos. No need to disconnect!
The Space:
Stunning 4 bedroom, custom-built contemporary with 3 full bathrooms (one on each level). Main floor has a beautiful great room with hemlock beams harvested from the property, hickory floors, and Vermont Casting wood stove that heats the whole house. Large eat-in kitchen has custom cabinets and vintage stove coffee bar. It is equipped with all the modern amenities, appliances, and dinnerware needed to serve up to 12 people. Spacious master bedroom suite with hickory king log bed, walk-in closet, and your own propane fireplace. Upstairs is a relaxing loft area with two more bedrooms, while the basement boasts a kids game room with bunk beds and sleeping futon.
The Location:
We are just 10 minutes off exit 24 or 25 of the Adirondack Northway between the towns of Schroon Lake, Brant Lake, Chestertown, and Bolton Landing. Snowmobilers have access to miles of public trails 1/2 mile up our road to the trailhead. Kayaking at all the nearby lakes and ponds including Burnt Pond or the lazy Schroon River just minutes away. Hikers can walk out the door and immediately pick up local trails or be within short distance to High Peaks. Mountain bikers can quickly access the Brant Lake bike park, ten minutes away. Skiers can make a short commute to Gore, Whiteface, or West Mountain, and those who fish are within short distance of Lake George, Schroon, Loon, Brant and Champlain. Great Restaurants, breweries, groceries, supplies, and fuel are all within 15 minutes. You really are in the heart of it all!
House Rules and Guest access:
Entire space and its many amenities are included in your rental. Please make yourself at home.
Burnt Pond Accessibility: You DO NOT have access to the beach via Burnt Pond Estates Road. It is a private road and part of a HOA. (Although it looks close and accessible, please keep out.) The pond itself, can be seasonally accessed for kayaking, fishing, or other non-motorized water sports. You can access the water via a small parking area at the end of Burnt Hill Rd. Directions to the public access point are available in our guidebook.
Additionally, you DO NOT have access to Crystal Lake (on Hayesburg Rd.). It is also a private HOA, but has no public access.
We understand accidents happen. Please notify us during your stay ASAP of any damage that may occur, so it can be repaired or replaced.
If you've never used/owned a wood stove, this device is NOT for you. Please be responsible and utilize the wood stove manual provided in the home. Stove is only available Oct 30th-Mar 30th . Contact owner w/usage questions.

Additionally, as mentioned in the “house rules”, this is not an area for parties, as it is a quiet and peaceful retreat. Guests are asked to be respectful of the surrounding neighbors as it is a small community.
-The property has two security cameras under the corners of the deck that is both a flood light and camera only to monitor weather, driveway conditions, package delivery, and garbage removal. The field of view aims only down the driveway in opposite directions and not at space typically occupied by guests. It is triggered by motion only.
-Automatic generator and radiant heat throughout.
