Summary: The booking was fraught with frustration once everything had to be done directly with SingularStays. Very chaotic and contradictory messaging with various reps. Vrbo tried to help but Singular was a mess. Upon arrival at the street door to the apartment building, the electronic key system did not work. Fortunately Singular’s office was only a couple of blocks away and a rep there provided some minimal assistance that allowed us to get into the apartment. The electronic entry system continued to be problematic but finally worked. The apartment is excellently located and is spacious enough, but had almost none of the amenities personal hosts have provided in the past. We purchased non-slip shower mats to avoid falls, a shopping cart, and all comestibles. Valencia was wonderful for sightseeing, beachgoing, dining, cultural things and the Turia greenway park. Overall, a pleasant visit to a lovely city but through an agency that needs to step up its service and attention to the client.
